2021 Dentiviola

Rapidly becoming a new favorite, this Petite Sirah heavy blend lives up to its name. Dentiviola in Italian means purple teeth, as it is a play on Petiti Sirahs nickname of being so rich that it will stain your teeth purple, though not really stain them. Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec take the flavor profile to a new level adding their influence to the mix. We finished this year with a splash of Merlot which helped to make the perfect smooth long finish. It is full of candied fruit, nectarine, sugar plum, leather, mild smoke, and toffee.  The tannins are in perfect balance with the acidity of the fruit and the finish is long and smooth.
