For the first time ever here is our Special Reserve of our most popular wine. Our 2018 Special Reserve Sangiovese comes from a special select barrel of our last pick of Sangiovese from the year 2018. This final pick was concentrated with extra skins as we removed the free run juice. The free run juice was sent to our Rosato, while what we were left with for this barrel was a concentrated and rich Sangiovese. This wine has good acidity, tannin, and balance to it with a long smooth finish. The aroma has strong blackberries, maraschino cherries, and strawberries, to be balanced with spice of cinnamon, vanilla, smoked hickory, and pine tar.

The epitome of New World Syrah, our Special Reserve is over the top with smoky aromatics, pepper and concentrated dark fruit flavors followed by a smooth savory finish. The fruit was carefully hand selected from our Estate harvest for having certain characteristics that we knew would lead to a dense, bold, and intense wine.

New Fall 2025 Release

Cento (CHEN-toh) in italian means one hundred as in one hundred percent of the grapes contributed to this incredible red wine were grown on the Perrucci Family Estate in Los Gatos. This is an outstanding example of our family's dedication to fine winemaking. 

Sometimes the only answer to the question why is why not? Some great wines are made from the most unlikely partnerships. This might be the most unlikely of all. Because we had only one goal, to make great wine, it free us from the bonds of tradition and maybe common sense. However, the results speak for themselves. Aged separately for two years in the barrel, Merlot and Malbec dominate this blend with Syrah and Pinot Noir rounding it out. This “Winemaker’s Folly” is another unique offering that is rich with raspberry and cherry flavors with toasted hazelnuts, vanilla, mocha, caramel on the finish. 

Rapidly becoming a new favorite, this Petite Sirah heavy blend lives up to its name.  Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec take the flavor profile to a new level adding their influence to the mix. It is full of candied fruit, nectarine, sugar plum, leather, mild smoke, and toffee.  The tannins are in perfect balance with the acidity of the fruit and the finish is long and smooth.

This wine truly lives up to its name sake as the biggest, darkest offering in our cellar. While slightly less jammy and fruit forward than the Malbec, it is full of dark chocolate, ganache, black cherry, blackberry, and strawberry jam with a rich, long finish.
