Cento (CHEN-toh) in Italian means one hundred as in one hundred percent of the grapes contributed to this incredible red wine were grown on the Perrucci Family Estate in Los Gatos. Cabernet is the backbone and provides the peppery, savory mushroom base while the Malbec brings rich blackberry to the party, and the Sangiovese brightens the whole thing with strawberry, and vanilla. (50% Cabernet Sauvignon, 35% Malbec, 15% Sangiovese)

Created from the finest lots of Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, and Sangiovese from our Los Gatos Estate, Cento is carefully blended to bring out the best from these unique grapes and offered only to our Wine Club Members. This blend was carefully put back into a new oak barrel for extra oak aging. Comprised of 55% Cabernet Sauvignon, 30% Malbec, and 15 % Sangiovese, Cento takes the best from all these classic varietals such as boysenberry pie, ripe blackberry, maraschino cherry, vanilla, smoked applewood bacon, black pepper, pine tar, and a hint of black truffles. The acid and tannin balance are ideal making the finish smooth and quite long.

The best example of New World Syrah, our Special Reserve is over the top with smoky aromatics, pepper and concentrated dark fruit flavors followed by a smooth savory finish. The fruit was carefully hand selected from our Estate harvest for having certain characteristics that we knew would lead to a bold and intense wine. The 2022 is richer and more fruit forward than the 2020 Vintage

The pinnacle of New World Syrah, our Special Reserve is over the top with smoky aromatics, pepper and concentrated dark fruit flavors followed by a smooth savory finish. The fruit was carefully hand selected from our Estate harvest for having certain characteristics that we knew would lead to a dense, bold, and intense wine. This vintage is almost identical to the 2022 but it has the advantage of 2 extra years in the bottle. That advantage has lead to a smoother wine with softer tannins.

This winemaker’s folly has all the elegance of a Pinot Noir with a punch of fruit from the Malbec. It offers a much longer finish and fuller body with tons of plum and blackberry from that melds perfectly with the cherry, raspberry, and subtle vanilla hibiscus. 

Sometimes the only answer to the question why is why not? Some great wines are made from the most unlikely partnerships. Merlot and Malbec dominate this blend with Syrah and Pinot Noir rounding it out. This “Winemaker’s Folly” is another unique offering that is rich with raspberry and cherry flavors with toasted hazelnuts, vanilla, mocha, caramel on the finish. 

Rapidly becoming a new favorite, this Petite Sirah heavy blend lives up to its name. Dentiviola in Italian means purple teeth, as it is a play on Petiti Sirahs nickname of being so rich that it will stain your teeth purple, though not really stain them. Cabernet Sauvignon and Malbec take the flavor profile to a new level adding their influence to the mix. It is full of candied fruit, nectarine, sugar plum, leather, mild smoke, and toffee.  The tannins are in perfect balance with the acidity of the fruit and the finish is long and smooth.
